What is the basis for your appeal? I was not afforded due process per the Indiana University South Bend Procedures for Personal Misconduct. The finding of responsibility failed to meet the preponderance of information standard. That the sanction(s) imposed were not proportionate to the act of misconduct.

The Dean of the School, department Director, or a unit hearing board will have the discretion in determining whether the basis for appeal has been met and whether the appeal can move forward. You may be asked to meet with the Dean of the School or his/her designee to resolve your appeal and are willing to cooperate in that request. You understand that the Dean of the School, department Director, or a unit hearing board may decide to impose a lesser sanction, increase a sanction, or uphold the faculty member’s sanction.
